Power of Play returns on 3/21/27!
GEF’s annual “Day of Play” is back for an 8th year on Sunday, March 21, 2027 from 11am-2pm! This FREE community event draws hundreds of Gloucester families to the GHS Field House to participate in dozens of fun activities, led by community volunteers and partners. Check out photos below from past years by community volunteer Marty Del Vecchio and GHS student photographers, and this video by 1623 Studios! Together, they will give you a taste for this beloved event. See below for LAST year’s activity schedule in English, Spanish and Portuguese. THIS year’s activity schedule will be posted ~March 1, 2027.

We can’t wait to play together!
Thank you to our 2026 lead sponsor and founding partner Cape Ann Savings Bank, and to 2026 sponsors Sawyer Free Library, Medeiros General Construction, and Seashore Comfort Solutions! Their continued support helps keep this event free and accessible to the entire community.
