Gloucester Education Foundation Grants

Our vision is to help make Gloucester one of the five best school districts in Massachusetts in the next five years - a goal we call "Five in Five." One way this can be accomplished is by supporting innovative ideas and programs created by teachers.

We encourage you to develop your big and small dreams that can make a difference to Gloucester students. We are committed to helping you see the fulfillment of your vision. If the GEF is unable to fully fund your program, we will work with you to find grants and other funding sources as we did with the $16,000 GHS Robotics program. This included support from local companies, mentors and a NASA grant.

Successful proposals should promote: innovation, enrichment, community collaboration, increase in student achievement and the furthering of goals and on-going priorities of the Gloucester Public Schools.

To apply for a GEF grant, you should submit a Letter of Intent, an outline is attached. Submission dates and other pertinent information also follow.
