The Gloucester Education Foundation and Gloucester Public Schools are thrilled to host the Gloucester Student Arts Festival, a day-long celebration of the arts in the Gloucester Public Schools! Check out this video from last year for a reminder of what the Arts Fest is all about, and see below for photos by Marty Del Vecchio and GHS student photographers from the 2023 festival.

The 2024 festival will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 11-4pm in downtown Gloucester. This all-ages event will be a destination for families, community members, artists and visitors. There will be displays of student work, performances, food trucks, a special GHS senior art show, and over a dozen art-making activities for all ages. This year, these will be led by local artists and arts organizations, as well as GHS students from the National Arts Honors Society and Racial Advocacy & Equity Club. We will also feature a closing concert from 3-4pm by steel drum band Dis and Dat, organized by GHS students and staff!

For more information, check this page regularly.

The final schedule will be posted in April!

The Gloucester Student Arts Festival is an annual collaboration between GEF, GPS, Cape Ann Museum, and the City of Gloucester, with generous support from Institution for Savings, BankGloucester, Gloucester Cultural Council and Massachusetts Cultural Council, Gloucester Female Charitable Association, BlackBear Barbershop, and Gloucester Education Foundation.
